Our International Moving Process

  1. Pre-Move Consultation 

    • We will first do a detailed, on-site survey to size up the volume required for your shipment, listen to what you need, and discuss with you the options for your international relocation, with the aim of orchestrating it in the most efficient way. 
       

  2. Quotation and Contract 

    • We will provide an initial quote for your consideration, and eventually a formal contract for your acceptance, once we are aligned. 
       

  3. Packing and Loading 

    • We will arrive to pack your items on the scheduled day. All items will be packed according to international shipping standards and requirements. Crating will be provided as well for high value or fragile items that require further protection from the rigours of an international move. 

    • A detailed inventory list will also be compiled. 

    • Your belongings will be sent directly into a container or to our warehouse, depending on the requirements of the move. 
       

  4. Transportation 

    • Your shipment will be transported by land, sea, or air, based on your move requirements. 
       

  5. Customs Clearance 

    • Once shipment is made, paperwork for customs clearance commences and we will work closely with you on this administrative process.
       

  6. Delivery at Destination 

    • After clearance of customs, our appointed agents at destination will send the goods to your home. 

    • They will unpack, place, and assemble any furniture as required.

Delserv endeavours to create a seamless relocation experiences for you, but while we pay special attention to protecting your goods during packing and removal, unexpected incidents can occur. For extra peace of mind, we offer shipment protection plans on all international moves.
