Local Moves

At Delserv, we understand no move is a small move, and appreciate the importance of good planning as part of the successful execution of your relocation.

With our professional packing and transport teams, and skilled management on the day of your move, you can look forward to a hassle-free move. 


We take exceptional care in ensuring that items are well protected during the move - Our staff are trained to move art pieces, antiques and pianos with care. Whether it’s a one-of-a-kind antique, or the finest of glassware, you can take comfort in our content handling procedures. 


Our local relocation services can be entirely customised based on our client's unique needs - from multiple delivery points and multiple move phases, to the disposal or storage of select pieces, let us help with this process.

Our Local Moving Process

  1. Pre-Move Consultation 

    • We will first do a detailed, on-site survey to size up the volume required for the move, and listen to your needs.
       

  2. Quotation 

    • We will provide you with an initial quote, for your consideration. 
       

  3. Packing, Handling and Loading

    • We will arrive to pack your items on the scheduled day. 

    • All of your items will be handled professionally, and we will take extra care in packing your items with sufficient protection. Crates may be used to house extra fragile items to provided further protection, where needed. 

    • Large bulky items like beds will be dismantled for ease of transport. 
       

  4. Transportation 

    • We will send your items over using our fleet of lorries and vans. 

    • All packed items will be stacked safely and securely for transportation to your new home. 
       

  5. Delivery at Destination 

    • We will unload, unwrap, place your times in your new home, and assemble the dismantled furniture. 

    • All debris will be disposed off.

 

Our fundamental relocation service includes the transportation of your belongings and packing of your furniture and large bulky items (fridge, washing machine, etc). However, if you are pressed for time, you may also consider our complementary packing service where we pack your clothes, kitchenware, books, knick-knacks.

Delserv endeavours to create a seamless relocation experiences for you, but despite our utmost care in the handling of your items, there are inherent risks with any move. We also offer full insurance coverage for your items – this can be considered for any high-value items you might have. 

​

As part of our customisable, end-to-end services, short and long-term storage solutions are also available, should you require them.
